The First Dragon War led to the fall of much of the Elven kingdom. The Elves suffered the majority of the casualties in a conflict in which they were eclipsed by the might of Dragons. The Human and Dwarven armies did not participate in a critical battle, leading to the current day tensions between the races and Loth'Logar's contempt of the other races. Near the end of the war, in their darkest hour, the Elves forged four powerful but dangerous weapons to slay the dragons: a warhammer, a spear, a sword, and a bow. Beyond all odds, they brought down the dragons but were swiftly scattered to corners of the world so that could not be used further.
